Commission a permanent sound environment for your space.
This is the first page of a conversation, not a contact form. Each brief below is read by a senior composer, then translated into a proposal shaped to the architecture, the room, and the silence you already have.
§ 02 — The Brief
Six details we need to begin a meaningful conversation about your space.
A commission is a dialogue between the room and the people who will inhabit it. The fields below describe what we ask every prospective partner — from a single suite to a 4,000-square-metre museum wing. None are binding; each is a starting point for the studio call.

Reading window — five working days
Every brief is read in full by Lena Marković or one of the senior composers. A short, considered reply — confirming fit, asking clarifying questions, or redirecting you to a partner studio — arrives within five working days of submission.

The first studio call — sixty minutes
If the project aligns, we schedule a one-hour video call with two members of the studio: a composer and an engineer. We listen first. The call is exploratory; no pitch deck is presented and no fee is requested at this stage.

The proposal milestone — three to four weeks
A short, monograph-style proposal follows: a written concept, two or three sonic references, a hardware envelope, a phased timeline, and a budget corridor. Every proposal is bespoke; we do not work from packaged tiers.

Visits to the sound lab — including the anechoic chamber and the 31-driver reference array — are by appointment. The studio also operates one satellite atelier; ask when you call.
§ 05 — Practical Questions
What serious commissioners ask before sending a brief.
- How long should I expect between submission and a first reply?
- Five working days. Every brief is read personally by a senior composer; we do not triage through a marketing inbox. If a project sits outside our current capacity we say so directly and, where possible, recommend a partner studio.
- How should I frame budget if I do not yet have a number?
- Indicate a corridor or a ceiling — even a rough one. The budget range informs composition scale, hardware specification, and the depth of on-site calibration we propose. We will never present a fee that exceeds what you have indicated; proposals are always returned with a clear breakdown.
- Do you commission work outside Europe?
- Yes. Of the 143 permanent installations currently live, more than half sit outside the EU. Our team travels for concept, calibration, and handover; we maintain a small satellite atelier for in-region installations and post-commission acoustic maintenance.
- Who owns the calibration after the handover?
- Every commission ships with a five-year acoustic maintenance contract as standard. Our SpatialHarmony™ engine and reference tuning files remain under studio custody, with annual on-site re-calibration included in the maintenance window. After five years, the file archive and acoustic notes transfer to the property in full.
- What materials should I attach to the brief?
- Anything that describes the space as it stands today — drawings, photographs, a short brief from the architect or interior designer, an existing acoustic report if available. We treat attachments as confidential and return them on request.
